"Excellent to the way managed get the ticket with reasonable price via online compare to walk-in ticket!! My kids also much enjoyed feeding the animals especially the rabbit even though quite scared @ 1st. She also love to see the Casowary in life since the main reason we are here. She also love feeding the Koi like toddler when the Koi's sucks the food from the milk bottle."

Getting to Langkawi

There are many ways to travel to Langkawi. The most common way is to travel by air as there are daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi Island. Fares often are pretty cheap. History of Langkawi

Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah (Malay: Langkawi Permata Langkawi) is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. The islands are a part of the state of Kedah, which is adjacent to the Thai border. On 15 July 2008, Sultan Abdul Halim of Kedah had consented to the change of name to Pulau Langkawi in conjunction with his Golden Jubilee Celebration as Pulau Langkawi is its own state. By far the largest of the islands is the eponymous Langkawi Island with a population of some 64,792, the only other inhabited island being nearby Tuba Island. Langkawi is also an administrative district with the town of Kuah as largest town. Langkawi is a duty-free island.
